Manchester, N.H., Bishop John McCormack voluntarily released the names of priests with credible accusations of sexual misconduct with minors to the Office of the Attorney General in February 2002. In a Jan. 24 editorial, NCR stated incorrectly that the diocese was “forced by the courts” to release this information to the public.
