A story in the Feb. 21 issue on the history of the Carmelite Order incorrectly listed the year in which the two branches of the order were separated. The pope declared the Carmelites of the Ancient Observance (O.Carm.) and Discalced Carmelites (OCD) separate orders in 1580.

A story in the Feb. 28 issue incorrectly reported the date of the founding of the Paulist Fathers. The congregation was founded in 1858.
