Calling all writers!

Our next "variations on a theme" will be in the Dec. 9 issue of NCR, with the topic "Excuses." If you'd like to contribute to one of our upcoming theme, see the list below for deadlines and subjects.

In your submissions we ask that you include your name, city and state, mailing address, phone number and e-mail, if you have one, and keep your submissions to 375 words or less. We reserve the right to edit all submissions; if yours is chosen, we'll let you see the edited version before it's printed.
