POETRY

Stepping Out

You who created the planets
And hurled the stars into space
Now step out of star-filled skies
Gracefully garbed in humanity’s guise.

-- Sr. Leola Hausser, HM
   Villa Maria, Pa.

The Master Chef

Fisherman, Poet, Priest
Sophia’s friend and mine
Weaver of words that heal
Instruct and inspire
Your net’s caught many fish.
Please ask your friend on shore
To make my breakfast too.

-- Gladys Pramuk
   Lexington, Ky.
