ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF LITURGY AND MUSIC -- Good Shepherd Catholic Church a multicultural and active parish of 2800 families, seeks an energetic and enthusiastic Assistant Director of Music and Liturgy. Responsibilities: coordinate liturgical ministries; plan liturgies for two Spanish masses per weekend and other parish liturgical celebrations, and work with Director on bilingual liturgies. Requirements: Full time professional experience and training in church music ministry and liturgy development; experience working with multicultural liturgical process with an emphasis on Spanish needs and cultural diversity. CHAPLAIN

COLLEGE CHAPLAIN -- Marymount College, CA, is seeking an ordained catholic priest to join Campus Ministry office to provide for the sacramental and pastoral needs of the college community. This is a nine-month appointment, with great flexibility in time and dates. It is preferred, though not required, that the chaplain live at the student residence site in townhouse accommodations. The candidate will generally have no liturgical duties on weekends except for Marymount special events. Responsibilities include forming and sustaining the faith community of the college through pastoral and sacramental care for students, faculty, and staff, implementation of the principles of empowerment by the spirit, directing RCIA, bible study, fostering ecumenical relationships and programs, and presiding at the Wednesday weekly mass and other College Liturgical celebrations.
