Coming April
4th!
Completely redesigned Web
page!
NCRonline.org
Your National Catholic Reporter website enters a new and
exciting phase April 4th with a new design and new features, including several
NCRonline exclusives not found in the print version of the
newsweekly.
First, please note our new website name, NCRonline.org,
which reflects our expanded efforts in electronic publishing. We
suggest you make the change in your favorites folder on your web
browser. For your convenience, NatCath.org will still bring you to the
new NCR homepage.
You will find your old favorites, including the
regular newsweekly content, John Allens Word from Rome, and
Bishop Tom Gumbletons Peace Pulpit, in new easy to read
formats.
New features include a daily look at the world and current
events by a member of the NCR staff called Todays
Take; a weekly column by Benedictine Sister Joan Chittister, From
Where I Stand; and a weekly column by authors outside the United States
called Global Perspective.
All this, posted and available
several days earlier than you receive your printed version of the
newsweekly.
Beginning April 4th, current NCR newsweekly readers,
after registering, will have full access to the entire website with all its
features and articles and postings. Those who are not current subscribers to
the newsweekly can subscribe to NCRs electronic version for a
reduced annual price with full access to all the new sites
features.
NCRonline will continue to provide more limited news
and features to all who visit the site. Complete information about NCR
Publishing will be available to all as well.
NCR is continuing to utilize new technologies,
delivering its award-winning information, analysis and commentary on the
Catholic Church and wider world to our Internet readers in a more timely and
pleasing format.
Stay tuned for further
developments.
